Choosing the thread

When we created our first collection, we explored different materials, including wool and cotton, before choosing a nylon thread made in Colombia.

Although natural fibers were part of our journey, nylon proved to be the best choice for swimwear because it is lightweight, durable, quick-drying, and able to withstand saltwater and sunlight.

We source our thread locally in Colombia, supporting local suppliers while keeping much of our production process close to home.

Designed as a family

Although she now lives in Spain, Minati’s roots remain deeply connected to Colombia.

Each season, together with her mother, she thoughtfully selects the colors that will shape the collection, creating a visual story that captures the inspiration, emotion, and intention behind every design.
